74-year-old man killed his neighbor after arguing over the volume of music: video

A heated argument between a group of neighbors ended in tragedy when one of them, a police retired, fired a gun and murdered another. The events occurred in the neighborhood The Killing, Buenos Aires, Argentinaat 6:00 in the morning on December 25.

In videos from security cameras and in a recording made with a cell phone you can see the moment in which the accused murderer, identified as Rafael Moreno74, arrived at the place where a celebration was taking place, demanding that the music be turned down.

First, Rafael Moreno approached one of the members of the party and they spoke a few words. Seconds later, another of the attendees, a 40-year-old man identified as Sergio Diazapproached when the older adult took out the gun.

Díaz confronted Moreno, began to push him and told him: “You can’t take a gun from me, you idiot. “Who do you think you are that you take an iron at me?” In the middle of what happened, the 74-year-old man fired his gun into the victim’s abdomen.

Moreno was arrested by the authorities minutes after murdering Díaz and was investigated by the prosecutor in the case. According to the Argentine media All Newsthe man indicated that he did not intend to commit the homicide.

A source from the aforementioned media maintained that “he (Moreno) said that the gun was fired at him, that it was reckless and that it was not his real intention.” Furthermore, he added that “the sayings are not enough to modify what is objectively seen in the videos.”

The source of the authorities said that in the case “we see a completed intentional homicide. “The declaration does not make a dent in the qualification that was imposed for the moment.”

On the other hand, the wife of Rafael Morenoidentified as Liliana, told All News that the husband “told me that he had to shoot because there was a gun and they were pointing it at him.” He mentioned that “the guys (Sergio Díaz and his relatives) wanted to break the fence. Then someone came out with a gun and acted crazy. And well, he had the gun.”

The woman was taken by the Police and, as she left her house, some people shouted at her “you are a murderer, just like your husband,” and threw blunt objects at her.

His cousin spoke from Díaz’s family, who was interviewed by the aforementioned media. “Sergio jumped because of the way he came to talk to my cousin with the gun in his hand, that’s why he jumped. If he came to speak well, and told them to turn down the music, he wouldn’t get involved, but he got angry when he took out the gun.”

Díaz’s cousin added: “How is he going to threaten you with a gun? Today he took a life, my cousin’s life. It was point blank. He laughed, he enjoyed killing him. Now they took the photo and he came out with a face like ‘I didn’t go there.'”

Finally, about his family, he mentioned that “my cousin was a mass, he didn’t like injustice. He was a good person, a good father, a genius. “I spent the holidays here for him.”
