Practical and tasty pudding and dessert recipes with a sensational homemade flavor!
Chocolate pudding
Ingredients
- 500 ml of milk
- 1 and ½ cup (tea) of sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- ½ cup (tea) of hot water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 8 eggs
Ingredients Syrup
- 2 cups (tea) of granulated sugar
- 1 cup (tea) of water
Syrup Preparation Method
- Boil the sugar with the water until you get a clear caramel syrup.
- Pour into the pan, coating it well. Set aside.
Preparation Mode
- Dissolve the chocolate in hot water, mix well and let it cool.
- Lightly beat the eggs and pass them through a sieve. Set aside.
- In a blender, place the eggs, prepared chocolate, sugar, milk, cornstarch and essence.
- Beat for 10 minutes.
- Place in the pan, in a bain-marie for approximately 1 hour and a half.
- Remove, let cool and then refrigerate until firm.
- Unmold.
- Decorate with white syrup.
Ingredients White Syrup
- 1 glass of coconut milk
- 1 cup (tea) of sugar
Preparation Mode
- Bring the coconut milk and sugar to a low heat.
- Let it boil for 10 minutes or until a thin syrup forms.
Mom’s Tips
The glass of coconut milk is 200 ml.
Yields approximately 8 servings.
White Manjar
Ingredients
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 2 cans of milk
- 4 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 1 glass of coconut milk
- 100 grams of grated coconut
Preparation Mode
- In a pan, heat the condensed milk, milk and cornstarch over low heat.
- Stir constantly until thickened. This prevents the cream from clumping.
- Add the coconut milk and stir for 1 minute.
- Add the grated coconut and mix.
- Place in a previously wet mold.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Once well chilled, unmold.
- Cover with ice cream syrup and decorate as desired.
Mom’s Tips
Use the empty condensed milk can to measure the milk.
