Every time is time for a cupcake and these are perfect for surprising loved ones in any situation.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • 1 cup (tea) oil
  • 1 and ½ cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 4 tablespoons of chocolate powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of chemical baking powder
  • 1 glass of cherries in syrup
  • Cherries to decorate

Preparation Mode

  1. Grease and flour pie pans.
  2. Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
  3. Reserve the cherries and place the syrup in the blender.
  4. Add the rest of the ingredients and beat until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
  5. Place 1 tablespoon of batter into each prepared pan.
  6. Place 1 cherry in each and cover with the dough until the mold is 2/3 full.
  7. Place in the oven to bake until a toothpick inserted into the center of the dough comes out clean.
  8. Unmold warm.
  9. Once cold, place in paper molds.
  10. Decorate by sprinkling the cupcakes with icing sugar and cherries.
  11. Serve.

Mom Tips

If you prefer, you can use a cupcake mold.

When buying a jar of cherries in syrup, check the packaging label to see if they are really cherries. There are manufacturers who use gummy bears instead of cherries. Stay alert!

The cherries for decoration can be natural fresh ones.
