Cream Corn
Ingredients
- 1 can of drained green corn
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup of milk (tea)
- 1 can of cream
- Nutmeg to taste
- Salt to taste
Preparation Mode
- Place the corn in a pan with the butter and onion and fry for 5 minutes or until softened.
- Place the mixture in a blender and blend with the milk and cornstarch.
- Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes or until it thickens.
- Remove from heat and add the cream.
- Season with salt and nutmeg and mix well.
- Serve.

Corn Puree
Ingredients
- 2 cans of green corn
- ½ cup of milk
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- Salt to taste
Preparation Mode
- Drain the corn, heat it and pass it through a juicer or sieve.
- Add the milk, butter, salt and cheese.
- Leave it on the fire for a few minutes, stirring constantly.
- Serve hot.
