After making comparisons between various aperitif biscuits, red fruit jams and spreads, Yuka released a brand new ranking. This time, the analysis focuses on plant-based yogurts. The specialized application evaluated the different food products based on three major criteria: their nutritional quality, the presence of additives and their origin. We share with you the 10 best references available on the shelves of our supermarkets.
Overall, the composition of the plant-based yogurt references is excellent. In tenth position, we discover Fruity Soy Lemon from the Nat & Vie brand, rated 78/100. The ninth place is occupied by the chocolate soy dessert from Sojasun. Although this yogurt is considered low in calories, it is slightly sweeter than the rest of the ranking with 13.3 g of sugar per 100 g. Eighth place goes to Sojasun café, due to the presence of three additives including one with limited risk. In seventh position, Alpro’s vegetable dessert with mango shines with a score of 84/100 and a very low calorie content (62 kcal per 100 g). Seventh place is also awarded to a product from the Alpro brand, the vegetable coconut dessert, rated similarly. Fifth place is occupied by Bjorg, who seduces the Yuka app with his chocolate almond dessert. His plus? The product is organic and made without synthetic pesticides. Fourth place goes to So Almond Nature yogurt from Sojasun, obtaining a score of 90/100.
On the podium, Yuka identified the three healthiest plant-based yogurts for our health. In third place we find Sojasun’s natural soy desserts, characterized by their low salt content. Second place goes to the So Soja reference! Mango from the Sojade brand, obtaining a score of 94/100. Sojade’s Greek vegetable yogurt is the big winner in this ranking. The latter climbs onto the first step of the podium with a perfect score of 100/100.
