The anti-Chavista leader María Corina Machado made this Sunday a call to Venezuelans to, from wherever they are, ask the International Criminal Court (ICC) – which is investigating the Caribbean country for alleged crimes against humanity – to act “now” so that there is “justice”.
“Today, Sunday, December 1, we already have a first task to accomplish: we Venezuelans are going to raise our unanimous cry before the International Criminal Court, where we have already provided enough evidence for justice to be done,” he said in an audio that he published. on social network X.

In that sense, the former deputy asked that, in “every city in the world where there is a Venezuelan”, a “very clear” message be sent to that court in The Hague, with the aim – she explained – of defending the “victims.” innocent” and “brave compatriots who have given everything in this fight.
“It is time for solidarity and to be united like never before,” said Machado, who pointed out that the “key to change” is held by every Venezuelan and “no one else.”
Likewise, he expressed that The situation is “outrageous” in the Caribbean country, where “the regime” – in reference to the Government of President Nicolás Maduro – “persecutes everyone just because they speak the truth”, but, in Machado’s opinion, “no one can force” citizens to “this humiliation”.
“My dear Venezuelans, in this time of preparation, let us reflect on all of the above, because in our determination lies the invincible nature of our struggle. You will not be able to prevent us from enforcing the popular mandate that we issued on July 28,” he added.
