The Venezuelan Justice has convicted five people who acted as accomplices in the murder, in 2015, of the rapper Tirone José González, known as Canserbero, The Public Ministry (MP, Prosecutor’s Office) reported this Tuesday.

Through a publication on Instagram, the Public Ministry indicated that, after the conclusions in the oral trial hearing, the defendants Gilbert Cruz, Edgar Trillo, Teresa Pinto, Solangela Mendoza and Marcos Pratolongo They were sentenced to sentences of between 15 and 20 years in prison.

The institution detailed that former police officers Cruz, Trillo and Pinto received sentences of 17 years and 4 months in prison for the crimes of “obstruction of the administration of justice and association to commit a crime, simulation of a punishable act and aggravated corruption.” Police officials were accused of having covered up the murder.

Meanwhile, Mendoza was sentenced to 15 years and 6 months for the crimes of “obstruction of the administration of justice and association to commit a crime, and financing of terrorism and concealment.”

Pratolongo, he continued, was sentenced to 20 years and 6 months in prison for the crimes of “international homicide qualified with treachery and for futile motive in the degree of non-necessary accomplice and simulation of a punishable act, obstruction of the administration of justice and association to commit a crime.” , and financing of terrorism”.

Last February, the Prosecutor’s Office reported that the brothers Natalia and Guillermo Améstica were sentenced to 25 years in prison for the murder of the rapper.

How did Canserbero die?

The singer was sedated and stabbed to death, so it was not a suicide, as indicated by the first investigations, the Prosecutor’s Office reported then.

Subsequently, Améstica asked a brother for help – with whom she altered the crime scene – with the aim of simulating that a fight had occurred between Molnar and González, and that it ended with the homicide of the first by the second, who ended up committing suicide, as indicated the police version for the last eight years.
