The reason for this recall is the presumptive detection of Shiga toxigenic Escherichia coli (STEC) O157 during additional internal analyses. Shiga toxigenic Escherichia coli (STEC) can cause, within the week following consumption of contaminated products: diarrhea, sometimes bloody, abdominal pain, vomiting, fever. These symptoms can be followed (5 to 8% of cases) by severe renal complications, mainly in children.

If you have purchased these products, do not consume them and return them to the point of purchase. You can also contact customer service. Consumers can obtain a refund by returning the products to the point of purchase before the recall process ends Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
