An elaborate and delicious strawberry cake that can be served at a party, making the children happy!
Dough Ingredients
- 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
- 1 cup cornstarch (tea)
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 2 cups of sugar (tea)
- 1 cup (tea) oil
- 1 cup of natural yogurt
- 3 eggs
- 1 box of strawberry flavored gelatin
Filling Ingredients
- 200 grams of sanitized strawberries
- 4 tablespoons of sugar
- 4 tablespoons of water
- 1 envelope of unflavored gelatin
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 can of cream
- 1 cup of milk (tea)
Ingredientes Marshmallow
- 3 whites
- 3 cups of sugar (tea)
- 1 cup (tea) of water
To decorate
- Sanitized whole strawberries
- Sanitized blackberries
- Mint Leaves
Dough Preparation Method
- Grease a 24 cm diameter round pan and sprinkle with wheat flour. Reserve.
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
- In a bowl, sift together the wheat flour, cornstarch and yeast. Reserve.
- In a blender, beat the oil, sugar, yogurt, eggs and gelatin.
- Place the mixture in the bowl with the sifted ingredients, mix and place the dough in the pan.
- Place in the oven to bake for 30 minutes or until golden.
- Unmold the cake after it has cooled, cut it in half and set aside.
Filling preparation method
- Place the condensed milk, cream and milk in the blender glass. Reserve.
- In a pan, bring the water, strawberries and sugar to a boil. Remove and reserve.
- Hydrate the gelatin in the water recommended on the packaging and dissolve in the microwave or in a bain-marie.
- Add the strawberry mixture and dissolved gelatin to the blender jar.
- Place the glass in the blender and blend well.
- Refrigerate until it becomes creamy.
- Fill the cake.
Marshmallow Preparation Method
- With the water and sugar, make a thick syrup.
- Using a mixer, beat the egg whites and, without stopping beating, pour in the syrup in a stream.
- Keep beating until it becomes very firm.
- Cover the cake with the marshmallow.
- Decorate with strawberries, blackberries and mint leaves.
Mom Tips
If you prefer, sprinkle the side of the cake with grated coconut or colored sprinkles.
